Supported Living Service  (SLS)

Independent Living Service (ILS)

Supported Living Services are provided to adults between the ages of 18-59 with disabilities.  The focus is on living independently in their own residences.  The services/hours are authorized and funded by the local Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) .  Monthly service hours and training/supports are determined by the individual and the planning team using person centered planning.  This assessment is then formalized into an Essential Life Plan for the Individual which helps the individual and the Regional Center follow how supports are working.  New Heights supports the individuals by providing the support necessary so that the individual(s) can live independently in their own homes.

Independent Living Service is a service for adults with disabilities whom might not need as much support services as an individual in Supported Living.  Individuals whom receive services may live independently or with a roommate or spouse/family member whom does not receive services.  Services support the individual to become or remain as independent as possible, thereby increasing self-sufficiency and decreasing dependency or paid support.  ILS services service hours are funded by the Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) and are determined by the individual and the planning team using person centered planning.
